William Henry Ritch Smith dressed as Guizer Jarl in 1926, born in Unst to Peter and Alice Smith (nee Wood) and lived in the West Side, Uyeasound until he joined the Merchant Navy in the late-1930s/Early-1940s.
Peter and Alice Smith resided at the Westside in Uyeasound. They latterly lived in the "Shop Store", a cottage attached to the Westside shop. Up Helly Aa.
