Robert Anderson and son John standing besides Austin 16 reg number AV 1899. Taken at Houlland South Nesting. Robert ran it as a taxi from Lerwick. Car bought from Charlie Mitchell Saefield for £30 and sold to Jimmy Nicolson Councilor for £30. The car's back was then cut off and made into a small lorry. Photo taken mid 1947/48
