Eskimo Urio Etwango on board Arctic whaler MAUD, of Dundee, in Lerwick Harbour. Returning from his Greenland voyage in 1886, Capt. Adams brought Etwango back to Dundee. On the next year's voyage back to the Arctic, Etwango was taken home. On the way, the Maud paid the usual port stop at Lerwick; his visit causing great interest with those locals who had not been to the whaling, and
seen an Eskimo.
The Captain Adams referred to as Captain Of "The Maud" died 4 years later August 1890 while still Captain of the Maud, he was landed sick off Thurso and died before reaching Inverness.
