Late 1940's
Commandeered haddock boat LK 43 JOEY, which did harbour duties for Navy in World War II, and ferried supplies to the army in Bressay. Later renamed GUIDING STAR, then sold to Orkney. H.M. Customs boat in foreground; eventually sold by auction in Lerwick and purchased by an Inkster man from New Zealand, and taken there.
