Lerwick String Band; standing; Andrew J. Abernethy, A. Murray, south man, William Harrison, Dr. Willcock, Magnus Anderson, Bob Mackay, Gideon Stove, Magnus Sutherland, Hugh Tait; seated; Dorothy Sandison, Christie Gilbertson (leader), ? Weldon, Thomas Manson, Louisa Leisk. Andrew Abernethy was the photographer of this collection. Dr. Willcock was of St. Ringan's church. Gideon Stove was a fiddle music composer (see The Shetland Violinist, 1986). Magnus Sutherland was a music teacher and photographer of the Sutherland collection S00001-32. Thomas Manson was proprietor of printers T. & J. Manson.
