A. Georgeson's shop and Vidlin House. The shop was originally in the house. The new shop opened 1881, supposed to be built by the Lerwick firm J. M. Aitken. The shop was originally Sutherland, later becoming A. Georgeson. The building comprised; shop (right door), store for meal etc. (left door), store for rope etc. (gable door), Post Office (rear of building). The boatie hoose was the paraffin and tar store, also peat shed for the house, roof being an old flitboat. The shop goods were landed by flitboat, from the Earl of Zetland, at the pier.
