Pier and wooden bød, Uyeasound. Fourareen in noost alongside boatie house, fourareen moored offshore, peat stack, sixareen flitboat in noost. The sixareen was built at Hay & Co., Lerwick as a flitboat to transport white fish to dry on the beach at Rova Head. She came to Uyeasound to flit peats from Aithsness to Uyeasound. Used occasionally to flit sheep across to Vementry. The boat was hauled up for the last time around 1960, by Frankie Hunter, Willie Tait, Johnny Johnson and others.
