Herring station at North Ness; group around a farlin. In the farlin are herring baskets, sample baskets and wooden tubs; saes in foreground; herring barrels stacked at left. Women wear oilskin aprons, haps and shaded shawls. One man holds a barrel putter (for moving barrels around). Drifter is LK 1031 OLIVE LEAF.
