Interior of crofthouse, women spinning, girl knitting, fish drying, box beds. Boy reading newspaper. Girl is using a knitting sheath and is probably knitting a hap, judging by what is on her needles and the thickness of the yarn. Note a hap hangs in the left corner of the room. There is a taatit rug in the box bed to the left, with its floss side toward the bed, indicating it was used with the floss side down.
