Hirdin at Benigarth; left, Baabie Hay (Benigarth); right of her with hap, Nancy Hay (Benigarth) (Baabie's mother); man is James Hay (originally of Benigarth but at that time of the Leeans, Ollaberry) (Nancy's son); at right, Katie Williamson (Rose Cottage, North Roe), then aged 15, who was there to help. Baabie is carrying burden of sheaves, James biggin the skru and Katie taking the fettel off a load of sheaves.
