THULE ROCK, LK 663. Her entry in Customs & Excise records details she was owned by J.W. Robertson and others, her skipper William Leask, keel length 90 ft., breadth 18.8 ft., depth - 9.5ft., crew of 8. She was built at Stromness, Orkney, and came to Shetland new in 1917. The Thule Rock passed through a number of owners and skippers after J.W. Robertson and others, being bought by the Lowestoft Steam Herring Drifters Company in 1937, when she left Shetland registry.
