At far right is the HAWK, flitboat belonging to the gut factory at Aishsvoe, Bressay. (This boat, formerly LK 191, was a Whalsay sail drifter, and was bought by the factory in 1903). Large white wooden building is the fish market (i.e. the first Lerwick fish market). Herring gutting in progress. Large building at far right is the sail loft. Note masts of a barque.
