Description
LK 1122 OUR GIRLS standing in for Sandwick. OUR GIRLS was built by R. Kitto & Sons, Porthleven, Cornwall, in 1895, as LT 661. Purchased by Peter Georgeson, Walls, and arrived 2nd May, 1903. Registered as LK 1122; Magnus Thomson, Watsness, was skipper. In early 1920's she was hired out to a Dunrossness crew, skipper James Mainland. Often made trips to Foula to take out cattle and to deliver doctor, poor's inspector, etc. Sold in October, 1929, and broken up at Selivoe.
