Shipping in Bressay Sound: Stern of mail steamer ST MAGNUS I; Schooner LIBERTA, of Lerwick; Dutch frigate ADMIRAL VAN WASSENAER; smack GOSSAMER LK 55. (Gossamer was a 26 ton cutter belonging to James Hoseason, of Pole, Hoseason & Co., skipper was a Johnson. Served as packet boat in Burraness/Swinister area of Delting. She was built at Ipswich in 1834, came to Shetland in 1852, was sold to Orkney in 1883.)
