Description
Schoolboys from North and South Voe paddling at the head of the Pool, Voe, on their way home from the Boddam school. Stern of sixareen HOPE. Hope was built by Davy Leask, at Hay & Co., Lerwick. Boys mostly Mainlands and Irvines. (Note: this is not the same as the sixareen 225 LK Hope, also of Voe, which replaced the one in this photo. Both Hopes belonged to the Irvines of South Voe.)
