Description
Man standing in between two cars is Bobby Jamieson, founder of the present Coach & Taxi business R.G. Jamieson & Son, Cullivoe, Yell. On left PS 418, was his first car a Model T Ford, bought new, costing £250 including extras and spares at Edinburgh where he also passed his driving test in 1922. On right PS 570 was his second car which was a 1925 Chevrolet which had a canvas roof and could carry 8 passengers. Bought in 1928, from T.R.Manson who was another motor hirer at West Sandwick, Yell.
