Wedding group, Capt. Joe Yule R.A.M.C., Alger Sutherland; Lt. Kingford Smith R.N., Marjorie Hunter, Rhoda Hunter, Ian McIntyre, Doris Hunter. Photo taken at back of Bank House (the Hunter sisters' father was the bank manager). Boys Naval hats have H.M.S. AMBITIOUS on hatband; this was the name of the Naval base at Lerwick. See Y00142; Lt. Kingford Smith appears in centre middle row. The party stand on a rug, which appears to be possibly taatit, from the lines formed by the pile.
