Hay & Co,'s hulk, formerly the German barque PRIBISLAW, at Freefield. The Pribislaw, of Rostock, stranded at Bigga, Yell Sound, in February 1870, and was taken to Lerwick where she became a store hulk for keeping salt, barrels, boats' sails and rigging, and spars were also made in there. The Pribislaw lay at the south end of Hays' Dock, near the boatbuilding shed and the North Ness. She was commonly known as the "Prebislav", but Pribislaw is the proper spelling.
