Brae; regatta activity on ayre. Several vehicles parked along road including some buses; Georgeson & Moore's 1944 Bedford AGS 675. (This had a S.M.T. body, 19 seats and was bought in 1950). Ganson Brothers 1950 Fordson Thames PS 2001 (bought new by Gansons and had Scottish Aviation 29 seater body, V8 petrol engine converted to four cylinder). W Thompson, Sandwick, 1950 Bedford OB, BKS 179 (28 seat Mulliner Utility MK. II body). Also Jimmy Watt's bus. Note; PS 2001 was sold to Jamieson's, Cullivoe, 1964 and BKS 179 was sold to T Manson, West Sandwick in 1955.
