Croft house but-end interior, at Fladdabister; Maggie Halcrow cairding and Flora Hutchison spinning. Fire is along gable, with no sides, and canopy above. Knitting lying on creepie, tea pot and tongs by fireside, yarn reel and wool on floor, dresser. Hanging on wall above Flora (nee Laurenson) is framed photo and medals of her husband John Hutchison. He was from Brough, Whalsay, and was killed in action on H.M.S. Ramsey in 1915.
