The RESEARCH was the last of her kind. She was a Zulu and was the last vessel of this class fishing anywhere in Scotland. She landed her last catch in 1968 when skipper, Bobby Polson was 72 and some of his crew were also past retirement age. On her last night at sea she had a respectable shot of 27 crans.
