Foula froke in Aran Yarn
Knitted by Anna Gray in the 1960s. In Aran yarn, popular in the 60s, shortened for a woman's size, but the garment pattern and shape are of the Foula Froke, exactly as taught to Anna by her mother-in-law Jeannie Gray of Daeks, Foula. Anna lived there with her husband Jamie and family in the late 40s early 50s. see image K00098
