Description
Girlsta Mill, in use as a salmon hatchery. House and buildings with tractor and trailer in background. The old mill had been used in the 1950s and '60s by the firm Shetland Limes, who quarried limestone and crushed it for fertiliser. The mill was the store for the bagged lime. After being derelict for some years, it was used as a hatchery.
